How It Works


1. Subscribe

Join our community ($8/month). You'll get access to each month's chalenge on the 1st.

Special Note: The Cryptic Click is a new endeavor in 2026. We'll be running for free for all subscribers through April of 2026. Until then, enjoy for free. After that, subscribe for more fun and chances to win!

2. Solve the Puzzle

Each challenge contains approximately 10 interconnected steps. Crack codes, spot patterns, follow clues—each solution reveals the next step of the challenge. Submit your answers through our tracking platform as you progress.

3. Complete & Enter to Win

Finish all steps before the month ends to enter the prize drawing. The sooner you finish, the more entries you get.

For example, in a month where 30 subscribers finish the challenge:

  • 1st place: 30 entries
  • 2nd place: 29 entries
  • 3rd place: 28 entries
  • ...and so on until
  • 30th place: 1 entry

4. Boost Your Odds

Earn bonus entries by sharing on social media and referring friends who subscribe.

Sharing on Social Media: Each month, earn+2 entries by posting/tagging on X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You can only earn +2 entries per month per platform (total of +8 entries), so no need to spam the same platform all month!

Referring friends: Refer friends to The Cryptic Click using the link found in your profile. For each friend that you refer that becomes a paid subscriber, you will get an additional +10 entries each month (no limit) for as long as that friend remains a paid subscriber.

Special Note: You will only receive these bonus entries on months that you complete the challenge! No play, no pay.

5. Winners Announced

At the end of each month, we randomly draw winners from all qualified entries and announce them in our newsletter and on Social Media.

Prize Structure

Prizes scale with our community size:

  • 100 subscribers: 3 prizes totaling $175
  • 300 subscribers: 3 prizes totaling $450
  • 500 subscribers: 3 prizes totaling $800
  • 1000+ subscribers: 3 prizes totaling $1,750

Rules

  • Only paid subscribers are eligible for prizes (after free launch period)
  • Must complete the challenge within the month to qualify
  • Winners selected via random drawing weighted by finish time
  • One prize per person per month
  • Prize paid via PayPal or Venmo within 5 business days
